Out of status application. New thread for those feeling lost.

If your OWP has been approved that means you are no longer out of status and your exclusion order doesn't matter anymore. More so your inland pr application is in process, so you don't have to worry anymore. Unless there are other information you haven't shared.It would be weird for someone who has approved OWP to be excluded from Canada .

I have recieved a letter of approval for OWP.

I’m lost!!!! I have an exclusion order and now I got this owp approval letter! (Note: I’ve recieved a PRRA application on the 25th of March, 2019)(my study permit valid till July 2019, I got an exclusion order because the year of 2018 I was on study permit without studying duo a bad legal advice from a lawyer)

Is this means my exclusion order it will be held or what’s going on now?

My time line:
Inland sponsorship + owp

App recieved: 4th of Jan. 2019
(Recieved exclusion order on 28th of Jan,2019)
App started to process: 28th of Feb, 2019)
Medical request: 6th of March, 2019
Medical: done on 8th of March, 2019
Medical: received
(Prra application recieved on 25th of March,2019)
OWP: letter approved 28th of March, 2019
(Owp valid till Feb, 2021)

I was student in Usa and applied for visitor visa of Canada and that i got in a week, then I came to Canada in nov 2018 on visitor visa and got married in Dec , 8.
My husband submit the sponsorship pr application without owp in Mississauga and we got our file number.
When i entered Canada there is no stamp on my passport for arrival.

So my question is that can I stay 6 months as 1st entry of visitor visa is of 6 months.

For safe purpose i applied for extension of my visitor visa online before the expiration of 6 months. But almost 2 weeks has been passed nothing received from CIC regarding my extension. I am worried everything is going good .
Please suggest.

Assuming you applied the extension online,you should have received the confirmation in the account.
For paper applications,it may be a while before you receive the confirmation.Try calling CIC.

As for me I’m just waiting for landing appointment God is really good! I’m one of the living proof that being out of status is not a hindrance to become a permanent residence as long as you’re in a genuine relationship that’s all matters.

yes you are right. its not a barrier at all. As long as you have all the documents requested and your relationship is genuine.
