November 2018 Outland Applicants (Spousal Sponsorship)

All those with no file transfers yet could this be possible with our files as well that we haven’t received the emails but the transfer in fact has taken place? I so hope that is the case!

I called CIC 2 weeks ago as I am the sponsor all they would say file still in Sydney. I got my husband to fill out the use of representative so I will call again in 2 weeks to see what is going on.

Since this involves Dominican Republic, the application will likely go to Mexico City VO for processing yes?
Be prepared for quite a long wait. I submitted November 30th to be exact and we are still awaiting transfer to Mexico City VO. Almost 2 months since medicals passed, still no transfer. I had my MP contact CIC (it's futile) and even wrote the Immigration Minister, as our baby is due soon and others who submitted around the same time are already receiving PPR yet we are awaiting transfer I have learned to accept this stuff and try not to compare to others, for sure.

People here are documenting up to 5 months after AOR for transfer to Mexico.
I sent you a DM about some methods for providing feedback on the processes regarding MEXICO VO.

The reason I know our app is marked to go to Mexico and not Mississauga or another Canadian VO? CIC told me when I called back in March. Yet here we are still awaiting transfer like so many others due to be processed out of Mexico City. I wish you all the best!

A cover letter of sorts is recommended, basically an "essay" describing how you and your spouse met and describing your relationship overall. There are many examples online if you research them on Google. It also helps if you have recommendation letters from family and friends vouching for your relationship that correspond certain dates to your cover letter.

Hey Man, I didn't see any updates on ECAS nor on GCkey, my wife got PPR email.
the only update i saw on gckey is "we received your documents"

Good Afternoon

Here are my dates and notifications so far

Nov. 9th 2018 application received
Jan. 16th 2019 notification of application received
Feb. 13 2019 notification elegibility of sposnorship approved
Feb. 19 2019 medical requested
Feb. 23 2019 medical completed

We have not heard anything since. Wondering if anyone else has had issues linking their accounts for the updates, cant seem to make it work it keeps saying it cannot find our application even though we jave a UCI and PA # any help would be appreciated

Also we have reached out to our MP in BC to check status heard this is a good idea to do
