Happy Sunday All,

Question - my husband completed biometrics on Friday and then last night he got an email yesterday stating:

Visa application, tracking ID No. Xxxxxxxzx has been received at the Kingston OC, Jamaica VAC on 2019-04-28 02:47:29 AM GMT Standard Time and is on transit to the IRCC Office in Kingston OC, Jamaica ,for processing. Please note this is an auto generated e.mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.
Regards,
VFS Global

I have not gotten an email stating the file has been transferred as yet from Sydney to Jamaica. Does this email mean the file has been transferred?
You will get a specific letter stating file has been transferred to KVO. They send the email to the sponsor tho

Hi,

I am a canadian PR and will soon sponsor my spouse from the Philippines. I am looking at the process and I am just confused looking at the checklist and the things that I/we need to do. I am visiting him soon and we will arrange the forms. Can we submit the forms together in one package (I will take all the forms and documents required for my spouse with me when I go back to Canada) or do we need to submit it separately?

Thank you!

Actually when I got request to pay biometrics I thought after uploading the receipt I should go and do it so I went to the visa office and I didnt take long at all when it was my turn she asked me for the bio letter it was then I realize I gotta work on the actual letter. I spent about 45min there I had an early appointment. I think things moved faster at the old location wen u could just walk in
You should get soon....bring snacks and a lawn chair. Expect to be there half the day waiting outside.
