I called and got the same answer,i even asked how come some nov.applicant that are in Montreal their status got to DM and mine is still in process since Jan ,she said it depend one the officer who have ur file.some are fast and Others not,

I got test invite ytd, on ECAS it says test invite sent on March 27 but I received the email on April 18th and there was no paper in the mail.
Anyways my test is scheduled for May 8

Which IRCC office are you in. I guess it depends on office to office, plus coninsidence.

I took the test - the real one and the one in the link. This test is also available on a different website. However, only a few questions were similar.

Take the test for your practice, however, please do read the book properly and thoroughly.

Vancouver is slow.... I think I better off to accept the job offer in Singapore starting next month. Just fly back here for the test once I get the test invitation

My application is in process since February 12, 2019 and no test invite yet. I think Ottawa is too slow Anyone else from Ottawa waited over two months to receive test invite?

Yes Here. Went in process Feb 5th or 6th....nothing since.

Thanks a lot for this reply. Yes, we have a two months old and at this time we do not have anyone whom we can ask to look after him (we have friends but they have their own stuff on weekdays and cant ask for help). Also, he is not that old enough that we can rely on "a" nanny (I know we are bit obsessive, he is our first one and at this time we are not sure or comfortable to leave him with someone we do not know and moreover its difficult to get a reliable one for just a day or few hours). Our plan so far is to ask to reschedule our test, and even oath ceremony, for one of us, however we are not sure if rescheduling for only one member of a family is possible or not.

HOWEVER, if anyone knows about a daycare where we can drop an infant for a day or 1/2 day in Ottawa area, please do let me know.

Why a day or half day? It doesn t take that long to write the test. If i knew ahead of time my shifts (im on call) i could have taken care of your baby for a few hours. I think your best bet is to separate your test date btw you and your partner.

Thanks a lot for reply. We too are thinking to reschedule my test on different time, if there is any chance, if not day. Lets see, its too early for us Ottawa-applicants, have a long wait a head.

I do not know how to memorize, one way is to make a reading card and read it time-to-time. Not sure if it helps, try to make card from following links
