Hi everyone
I submitted my PR+OWP application on 3 dec 2018
OWP application returned due to insufficient fees
I paid the fees and resubmitted the application on 5 February 2019 (sent to Edmonton as instructed in the letter)
Medical done and passed in mid March.
CIC requested for PCC for all the countries I lived in I submitted all that but no news yet
Waiting for OWP approval.

My question is do anyone know how long will it take to get resubmitted application Approved.
And I’m a EU passport holder,I entered in Canada with ETA which is valid for another 3 years.do I need some kind of visa or anything to live more than six months?(since stay on eta is six months)

You still need a temporary resident permit. If you used your passport, it's 6 months expiry from the date of entry. You can apply to extend your visitor permit 1 month before 6 months expiry. It takes about 3 months to process but you will have implied status as long as the application is in process

Doesn't he already have an implied status as his PR+OWP in process?

The thing is we dont know when his initial temporary resident permit (passport entry) was. He does have implied status with the OWP in process but if that gets refused again and he didnt apply to extend visitor status, he will fall out of status.

An ETA is just authorization to travel into Canada but he must still be approved/extension of temporary resident status.

I called IRCC this evening...the lady on the phone said I don’t need to apply for extensions or any sort of visa.she said I have an implied status since my applications are in process

Long story short. I fell out of status in November 2018. The following week I submitted a restoration of visitor status.

In December 2018 I applied for inland PR + OWP (no status).

January 25th 2018, my status was restored so I resubmitted another OWP with valid status.

I was told by CIC agent that i didnt have to submit restoration app + OWP with my PR because they would see the restoration app on my file (big mistake).

If I submitted restoration with my OWP and PR then it would have all been processed together..

One agent told me my 4 month timeline would be honored from Dec 14th and another agent said timeline starts when my status was restored.

But I have read somewhere else that sponsored OWP submitted after initial PR is processed a BIT faster but I dont know.

Now I am on visitor status that was restored in January. I will be applying for extension soon just in case.

*edit* I could not restore my previous worker status because it was post grad. owp and was maxed at 3 years
Just curious though, so Post grad work permit will not be extended in any case even if you apply prior to its expiration?

Okay great! If you got your AOR already then you're good. I guess if you already have AOR you should be good if your application goes through. But remember if for some reason the app and OWP are denied, you will be out of status

Well the PGOWP has a maximum validity of 3 years; it varies depending on length of initial study.

So you cant extend it after that. I haven't read if you would have to apply for a new OWP but you would be treated as a new OWP app and meet all the requirements.

The key is if someone intends to stay in Canada they would apply for PR or not stay and leave

If it helps, my OWP eligibility review started around 11am PST. And it changed to approved 24 hours later. And I got the approval email exactly 24 hours after that.
