Hello friends,
My AOR is November 1st and MEP is 1st december....... and BG since 1st december is "your application is in progress we will send you message when we start your background check". My eligibility is still under review. No update since 1st dec. I am very frustrated now....... but motivation here in the group keeps my positivity alive..... we are a family of 4 people.....

Dont worry , time taken for submission doesn't matter as long as it is within 60 days. I know many like me who recvd ITA on 5th Sep and submitted in last 3 days. Nov 1 and 2 have seen some updates last week , hopefully you will get next week.

Thank you so much for your reply. That really helped a little bit. My PR application has been a long roller coaster ride (probably we’re all in this together more or less the same). I had to give ielts 4 times as they would keep giving me 6.5 in one of the sections. Got fed up, applied for rechecking and finally got the required scored. Then I got stuck up with the passport renewal thing and all the documents that were dependent on that new passport. Then November being very slow for all of us. I hope next week brings good news for us.

No, any updates on your file are good. It means someone is looking at your file. IP1, IP2 and now this "false IP2" are just made up terms that mean nothing.

Hello guys,the long weekend is coming now. Good Friday and Easter holidays are mandatory leaves for Canada . Plus, Indian national election leave for NDVO. So three weekdays off!

To get a better understanding of your case. One can check the incoming correspondence sub section were the Program Assistant throughly checks all your documents and mentions the review status. If it's marked "checked" means it looks good. "Review Required" obviously the Case Analyst will have to take a second look.

I have read that most of the times, the case analyst agrees with the program assistant.

It will be checked by the case analyst when he picks up your file. Even for me some documents review status are blank. The PA only does the initial checks, later, the case analyst thoroughly checks the documents As long as the PA has not flagged anything you are good
