September 2018 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi everyone,

My application has been in process since 9th of January, and I received FP request on 11th of February, done it next day but up till now I haven
t heard anything back from them, it has now been 90 since it has been in process and no test invite. I am starting to get really worried, anyone in the same boat?

I am on the same boat. I got FP request last week of December and I submitted my FPs to an agency on December 31. Later in March I confirmed with RCMP that they sent my FP report to IIRC Vancouver on January 4, and then on phone IIRC agent confirmed that they have received the FP report and background check has been completed and I should wait for the test invite. So I am just waiting and waiting for the test invite which never seems to come.

Nope, interviewer asked me if I can come very next day for oath ceremony. I knew it would take few more weeks so I just said yes and attended the ceremony next day.

Today I will be completing 2 months since giving my test in Montreal and my ECAS is still IP and I have not heard from CIC. I have been thinking of applying for ATIP/GCMS notes. Anyone else in the Montreal group hanging in the air are applying or have applied for GCMS/ATIP notes?

Decision made since feb. 21 i think and still nothing been almost 2 months i hope to hear from them soon

I applied for notes yesterday. It will be a month before I get them. But I am not expecting any movement in the application until July. And Montreal gives 2 weeks notice for the oath. So most likely the oath invite will come end of June or early July or maybe even later. At least the notes will tell me if there is anything that is really being processed.

Congratulations, just wanted to know if the current job related questions are asked? Or just the eligibility period, like nature of job, full time or part time ? Thanks

Nothing really. It lasted only few minutes. The only question she asked was where I work and then she asked me if I can come next day for oath.
