i have create gc account but after signing in it doesn't take me to the link application or any reference number ..please guide

You can only link certain paper applications. To link an application:

  • Sign in or create an online account
  • Click “Link application to this account” under the heading “What would you like to do today?”
  • Enter the information exactly as you did you on your application form. If you made updates after you applied, enter the most recent information.
After you link your application, all messages about your application will be sent to you through your account. You will no longer receive paper letters about your application.

no update even after the correspondence letter message received on 5th April is it normal? I have not seen anycase like this thats why its bothering me

There is nothing you can do at this point other than wait and hope for best. It is normal i know some of friends got their reply after dayssssss of receiving the letter. So be patient

I applied for my parents visit visa and got correspondence letter on April 5th as well. We are in same boat I guess

No, I never saw anyone having a delayed response after correspondence letter. Two of my friends got their decisions just after correspondence letter.
