Hello!
I have a question, I got confused after researching all day...
I am at 430 points in my EE profile.
I do not have a full year of Canadian Work experience, but over 6 back in Germany. If I would get a LMIA Job offer, would that give me an extra 50 points? Would it have to be in the field I have my work experience in back in Germany (business admin)? Or could it be in something else too?
In the recent past I started instructing/guiding outdoor sports and have a bit of work experience in Canada (under 1 year) and overseas and all the certifications I need. Could the LMIA job also be in that field?
Thanks a lot! I got really confused, information overload.

Yes - if you get an LMIA and job offer - then you can qualify for another 50 points. The LMIA can be for a job in any profession provided it's a NOC A, B or 0 role. Note that it's typically next to impossible to find an employer willing to go through the LMIA process since it's so long and expensive. As a first step, the employer must advertise the job for at least a month to prove no Canadian could be found for the role.
