that neither criminality or BG check have started yet, i called on friday.
i have become very exhausted now with this weird and never ending wait. i don't even know how long i have to wait.
every thing has gone for a toss for indefinite time till i receive ppr which of course noone knows when will i get.
its like i cannot even work in one direction as it all depends on ppr which direction I'd be heading to.
just tired and frustrated.
Every one stuck here must be feeling the same. I expected to get the PPR by March but no signs even yet. April already. We can do nothing but to wait.
I'm just waiting for my gcms (which I should get by 16th April), only then I would find if there is some real issue with my file or just some minor one.

CIC is processing applications based on NOC.. not date wise..

Eligibility met back in December.. but no response after that.. have prepared my mind of crossing the 6 months mark because nothing is in our hands.. rather then “Wait” ;)..

Those who are in IP2 .. need not to worry.. your PPR is around.. .. ( only if you have no criminal history or suspicious travel history)... those who are in IP1 with eligibility MET.. till date .. welcome to 20% club of CIC .. just wait patiently..

Hi,

Did the payment page on getgcms show some name such as Manmeet Singh Rai ?

I am in this boat i guess as my eligibility is Met and nothing beyond that.
noc is 2174
what is yours?
what will be the priority of 2174 then if they are processing w.r.t noc codes?

Mine is 2132..
We are in same boat.. currently NOC starting with “0” ( managers) .. CAs .. accountants.. professors etc. are getting PPRs .. so engineers have to wait..

In my case no ADR.. no travel history.. no criminality history.. all docs cleared.. but no PPR.. hehe ..

There is nothing that can be done dear.. panic will only impact your health not your file..which I learned recently.. so wait.. n relax.. if eligibility is met.. you are 80% through.. one day we will get PPR sooner or later.. but we will get..

Hello everyone, I was reading about the Canada immigration process. I have understood the process till getting ITA. But it seems there is so much after that and i am confused with the terminology as well as the process. What are the likely steps after some one receives an ITA. i see lot of abbreviations AOR MEP IP1 and IP2. Can anyone explain or direct me to any thread which has all this information?
