Breaking news!!

I got DM today!!
My Pre-arrival letter came a couple of hours before that.
No PPR yet but I am looking forward for that in the next week.

The address in our email is:

06690, Çankaya
Ankara, Turkey

But when he is asking some travel agent tell him the address has changed?
I think VAC has changed not embassy that he needs to go, right? Please help

I contacted VFS office (VAC) on 25 March and they confirmed that the address has not changed yet despite it was planned to be changed.
Also the VFS website shows the below address.

I contacted VFS office (VAC) on 25 March and they confirmed that the address has not changed yet despite it was planned to be changed.

My husband was interviewed today. The officer said to give her a week to review the documents submitted by my husband. This makes me worry.

Is there a high chance of refusal? Or is it common to be put on hold after the interview. We were expecting to get the answer outright after the interview, whether it’s approved or denied.

We have been waiting since July lol!

I wish you the very best on the interview.
It is probably some questions to make sure on the originality of the marriage. There was a couple of cases in which the applicants recived visa right after the interview in Ankara. So despite its stress, interview can be a good news too.

My file was transferred to Ankara at the same date as yours, but they start processing on 23th of January.
May I ask what your background check status is in Gckey now?

I still have the default status on GCkey for everthing except the medical which is passed and the interview which is completed.

They made us wait for 1 week for the decision to be made. And it’s making me anxious. Is it common to be reviewed again after the interview?

Things like, my income (sponsor), his parents were not present during the wedding, they were both back home in Iran.. we did the wedding in the Philippines, how come his name doesn’t appear on our son’s birth certificate. I don’t know what happened, but apparently registration omitted his name, I applied him as a father but it was only my name that appeared on the certificate.

Only few questions were asked. Then she asked for the docs my husband brought.
