Actually my bacground check status changed from “Not Applicable” to “Your background check in progress. We will send you a message when we start background checking.” Since the day i linked my app. Then on March 28th from bgc in progress changed to “We are processing your bacground check. We will send you a message when we need more information.

Congrats! Out of interest, are you two living with your sponsors or currently in separate countries and living apart? As all the Outland applications I have seen processed quickly lately at Mississauga Visa office in other groups, have been living together in the same country (either in Canada or abroad). Just wondering if your two also follow this pattern?

Nope we're not living together. My husband is in the Philippines and I'm in Canada.

No we are not living together. My husband is a permanent resident in Canada. Actually i am expecting them to email me some proof of relationship thingy since we just met once before we got married. And our relationship started knowing each other in social media. but we are both filipinos, both grew in same province but different town and same religion. We also have lots of common friends before we actually know each other but no friends introduced us.

Guys did they give you a receipt for the confirmation of medical exam and/or copy of medical exam after you done taking it?

The doctor that did my husband’s medical on Monday emailed me yesterday with the emedical receipt
