My other half (sponsor) has just left me to get on with this and calls me a nerd for being so invested She gets excited at the different stages though



AOR2 from Mississauga rarely comes, that's the moved to VO stage and is sent to the sponsor.

If you don't receive another email with them stating they're processing your application then you'll have to wait for ECAS to update on the PA side. Once it updates to say 'We began processing your application on March xx, 2019' then that can be considered AOR2.

Still, very good news that it's gone to CPC-M.

means probably your PA is in a safe exempt visa zone so they can process your application faster without having to send the application there (on local)

We sent our additional documents last night, anyone know how long it may take for these to be reviewed and if we will have an update about it? Also, on ECAS it says “we started processing your application on March 20th 2019”. Anyone know what this means?

Up to 5 days usually and ECAS means they have started to process your applicaton. that's it

We got our AOR on March 21st and then yesterday they asked for additional documents. Presuming MR and SA will come through once they receive these? They also asked us to pay the RPRF yesterday too as we did not pay it upfront! Wonder if that’s good? Usually they ask for that at the end

I guess they needed some extra proofs to be SURE that your case was solid and without doubts. Yeah , waiting SA and MR too in here... got AOR on 26th.

We are common law so I completely understand why they want extra proof. In the original application we forgot to send the statuary declaration of Common Law, so we sent that off last night on my GC account. I’m 99% sure that’s the proof they were looking for; something in legal rights.

Common-law is always the tricky one, so i guess so. Married is easy cases , all according to laws and rights next but the Common-law part is where the most fraudulent happen so they double check.

They encourage people that are common law to apply so I know it’s not an issue, but completely understand why they need more proof! I’m hoping it won’t delay the process, but I guess we will find out. Once they have this additional information, I can’t see it slowing anything down!

We have been together 2 years and lived with each other 18 months. We’ve sent a lot of proof off of our relationship so I’m sure it will be fine

According to the pace they go right now... i would expect your case to be sent end of April probably. Unless they do a formality and send it right away after SA
