What is a formality?According to the pace they go right now... i would expect your case to be sent end of April probably. Unless they do a formality and send it right away after SA

Well that's when they put your case one step ahead like continuing to process it to next stage while they gonna ask for the medical stuff and all. What is a formality?
What decides that though?Well that's when they put your case one step ahead like continuing to process it to next stage while they gonna ask for the medical stuff and all.
If i knew ... sometimes is random , sometimes is because they are convinced about an application and proofs are solid so they just switch it fast. Tons of factors could lead to it... visa Exempt countryWhat decides that though?
Thanks for your information. I’m the PA and from the UK but in Canada on a work permit. My partner is Canadian Citizen. Im sure that once they have reviewed the additional information, things will start movingIf i knew ... sometimes is random , sometimes is because they are convinced about an application and proofs are solid so they just switch it fast. If you follow suit with the rest of us UK applicants you may be sent to Mississauga under the OB570 stream:Thanks for your information. I’m the PA and from the UK but in Canada on a work permit. What would make them send it to London UK though? Thanks for your information. Love the support in this group!!If you follow suit with the rest of us UK applicants you may be sent to Mississauga under the OB570 stream:

Typically applicants are sent to their local VO. However, more and more seem to be getting sent to Mississauga, primarily applicants from India, USA, UK and Philippines from what I've seen. What would make them send it to London UK though? Thanks Josh. Just had a read. Looks like as you said, straight forward cases get sent there. Hoping that ours is classed as that!Typically applicants are sent to their local VO. Have a read of the thread I linked, they tend to send straightforward cases to Mississauga (CPC-M), but they left out the triage conditions from the operational bulletin posted in there so we've no idea what conditions need to be met.
I think they send to the foreign country when they need a further lookup from some countries. No visa exemption and so on. Others cases are considered "straight forward"Typically applicants are sent to their local VO. Yeah i think everyone hope to be sent as straight forward that lower the time of process. Thanks Josh. Just had a read. Looks like as you said, straight forward cases get sent there. Hoping that ours is classed as that!
means probably your PA is in a safe exempt visa zone so they can process your application faster without having to send the application there (on local)
well i guess you either been lucky ....or not lolNot really, I’m not from a visa exempt country but my application was sent to Mississauga for further processing
Interesting... I am done with trying to figure out their process. I got MR and request to pay for Bio-metrics and then my file was transferred the very next day to Kingston, Jamaica. I am happy that it was transferred because that's the longest part of the process. I am not worried about anything. Just want it to be done and over soonWell that's when they put your case one step ahead like continuing to process it to next stage while they gonna ask for the medical stuff and all.
see obviously their process is not straightforward. I guess it depends on the country the PA is from. I am yet to see a PA from Jamaica file transferred to Mississauga. Not really, I’m not from a visa exempt country but my application was sent to Mississauga for further processing
