This is getting really frustrating, there has been ABSOLUTELY no movement ever since I passed the medicals.

Any "analyst" here who could help a brother out with an educated estimate as to when there may be movement on the application?

You and me had the Ghost update on the same day, I was eagerly waiting for the PPR email. Monday - 03/25, you received it, I didn't....Waited, waited, waited .... The email came from nowhere this Morning 03/26 (IST), happened to be on my birthday

I just submitted my passports to VFS office in Chennai...

Same boat and earlier AOR than you. Don't worry. It seems like things have been delayed at their front and only now have September - October applicants received PPRs. So we will need to wait it out. It seems like there is no movement till the end and then suddenly things will start moving.
Let's hope we see something in April end - May. Till then sit tight.

1. Both of you are at IP1 from what I can tell. Read more here: What to Do While Waiting, and Explanation of Terms (v. 2019)
2. Make Signatures for yourselves using either my signature or that of @USProgrammer as a template.
3. @jatt22, I have not heard of in-person visits to places of work outside of Canada; someone from IRCC may call or email your employer to verify your employment. In some cases where a case processing officer is sufficiently confident that your claimed work is bona fide, IRCC may not contact the employer at all.

No news or update after that, no biometrics either, BG - will message you once we start your background check. What position i’m at? Is anyone in same position as me?

I have submitted my file on 28 nov 2018
my medicals were passed on 10-1-2019 (just a guess, as there is ghost email regarding update on that particular date)

eligibility: we are reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements
background check: your application is in progress

can you plzz enlighten me with something, that howz my profile is going. good or bad?
and as I am working in marketing field, most of time I am on field. so do I have to wait in office for surprise checks?? Thanks and Regards

Wow, congrats mate.. mine is 3rd dec aor, still waiting to have my file move to ip2... hoping for best after looking at the turnaround you had for yhe ppr

Good luck to others here. I was expecting sometime in 1st week of April but I got it sooner. People who applied from USA are getting in between 100 - 120 days. Hang in.... Thank you for all the information you guys provided in this forum. It was very helpful
