May I ask what was your IELTS score? I saw you mention this a couple of times about re-attempting the exam.
Even I wish for the score to fall down soon..

Sure! It is 8-7.5-7-7 in L, R, W and S respectively. I appeared for it back in Aug 2018, so it's been more than 6 months now and still this waiting game is being continued. So I am sure that I can improve atleast ½ band in any of the 2 modules, enough to boost my scores with extra 6 points from 444 to 450. Anyways, what about your scores?
I too wish for the scores to fall down within the following 2 months. We're ready for the surprises though, but for the ones which would be in our favor only! Good luck!

Honestly speaking, I don't want it to happen tomorrow, because the ones with the lower 440s would be deprived again! However, If there is an increase in the ITAs, then we all can expect a good news..

Yes.. you surely have a scope to get to CLB10.
I'm already at CLB10 (Scores in Signature). No scope for me. Only thing which could have helped my case is if i had a Masters degree.

Oh! Well achieving the CLB 10 benchmark is not an easy task, buddy. However, You can still improve your chances by persuing a one-year PG diploma to be eligible for "The two or more certificates" category! For which you can claim almost 33 extra points, from 441 to 474. Another thing you can do is try to get an approach of a valid job offer if possible, it will provide you additional 50 points.

Anyways, I am lacking points because of the one major thing only and that is, less work experinece of only 1.5 year. If I was having 3+ years experience, I would have been sitting in the pool with 469!!
So anyhow, I'm looking forward to attempt the IELTS again!! That's the only 'Ray Of Hope' visible to me at the moment.

Thanks Nik. I'm actively looking for a job offer in Canada via multiple sources. As for the Masters, i'll try to do it, if i don't get ITA in next few draws. After 7years of my work experience,i find it really tough to go for Masters now. But if it is the only way i'll have to do it. Lets see what April brings in for me.

I'm not sure about the 7 points difference. But i'll definitely gain 33 points if i have a masters degree. I tried calculating my CRS with and without Masters, and rest all conditions same: it was 441 (current score), and if i add masters degree then it becomes 474.

After 7years of my work experience,i find it really tough to go for Masters now. But if it is the only way i'll have to do it. Lets see what April brings in for me.

Almost having the same profile as u do... only difference is IELTS writing where mine is 7 instead of 7.5... as for one year degree it is really a good boost to consider (I’m doing a similar diploma in my country too)
In that way I will be 438–>471
Only thing I’m a bit worried about is how the election will have some impact on EE system and scoring formula, or introducing more strict premise to enter the shortlist such as a job offer, etc... Anybody who have insights on CPC and Liberal Party’s stance on EE?

A difference of 7 points

Yes, you are right. There is a total difference of 7 points, but that is in these two only(Two or more certificates program and the Masters itself) not with the Bachelors. The difference of 33-40 points is from the initial study program i.e. Graduation! For example, Few of my friends have claimed additional 33 points for the "Two or more certificates" option and 40 points for the "Masters " program. Particularly, for this, your diploma course needs to be from a recognised university. Only then you will be able to claim the points! But scores also depend on the individuals' profiles. Have a look below:

Case 1:
(with 8777,1-2 years experience)

- If a candidate is having Bachelors only and 1-2 years experience, he/she would be having 404 CRS.

- Whereas the candidate with the "Two or more certificates" and similar experience, would be having a score of 437.
437-404=33
So there is a difference of 33 points!

- On the other hand, If he/she is having Masters and same work experience as mentioned above, his/her scores would be 444.
444-404=40.
So here the difference is of almost 40 points.

Case 2:
(with 8777, 3+ years exeprience)

- If a candidate is Bachelors only with 3 or more years experience, he/she would be standing at 429.

- Whereas the one with "two or more certificates" and 3+ years experience, his/her scores would be 462.
462-429=33
So here again the difference is of 33 points.

- However, the one with Masters and the same work experience would be having a score of 469.
469-429=40.

So, the 7 points is merely a difference between the two higher study programs (two or more..and the masters) . Hope it clarifies all of your doubts!
