WES -Bachelor degree 4yrs and Post graduate diploma 1 Yr

I believe when ur submitting the masters for ECA it will ask for Degree details as well...so u may need to submit both masters and prior masters educational details inorder to get the ECA report...it will not matter if masters and degree are of different stream...this info I got to know from WES website when adding educational credentials..there is a note with green background..hope this helps

Hi
Suggest you to apply for all your credentials( as fee remain same). WES may evaluate all, but for you if you get Master's degree equivalent will get you maximum points in CRS. 2 or more degrees are applicable when you don't have a master degree.

I have received my WES ECA as Bachelors with Post Graduate Diploma (One Yr).
There is no option in the drop down while filling up Express Entry Profile which exactly matches with Post Graduate Diploma (One Year). What should I specifically pick while filling up the application ? Please help as I am concerned it cause a problem at a later stage in the process.

The following is my education details,
10th and 12th completed,
B-Tech 4 years completed (ECA completed from WES as bachelors degree)
Diploma 1 yeah (not PG Diploma)

My question is will my diploma be accepted, as it is not a PG Diploma?

I have done a 3 year MBA and am also aware of the fact that WES recognizes business studies in India as equivalent to master's degree in canada if it is a three (3) year MBA course.

My ECA clearly does not give any cognizance to Post Graduation Degree / Post Graduation Diploma; and treats it as a Bachelors Degree.

I have raised this issue with WES from the "contact-us" section. Hope they understand that I have a valid point.

WES will probably give a "CANADIAN EQUIVALENCE SUMMARY of Bachelor's Degree 3 years" for your credentials.

Hey guys,

Just needed help with understanding WES.

I got my 3 years bachelors evaluated as 3 years Canadian equivalent bachelors.

Currently, my 1 year pg diploma is being evaluated by WES.

Going through forums I have understood that there's a good chance the consolidated WES report is gonna evaluate both my credentials as ' 4 years bachelors' in total.

This would mean I can claim points for just 1 bachelors degree.

Is this true or would I be able to claim points for 2 degrees?

My doubt is a bit different. Pardon me. Hope someone in this forum can help me out. If not then please guide me where can I get an appropriate answer.

WES gave me 4 years bachelors and 1 year post graduation diploma Canadian equivalency like most of you for my 3 yrs bachelors B. Sc. and 2 years masters M. Sc. degree.

Any chances if I can get evaluated as Masters if I carryout ECA through ICAS?
