Hello,

I have one question. While paying fees online for citizenship, do we have to select citizenship certificate as well or it's just optional?

Thank you so much.

You will need your certificate to ask for a Canadian passport :D

You only pay the citizenship fee. The certificate is included.

You automatically get a certificate at the ceremony. You neither have to apply nor pay for it.

Dear all, sorry if this was already addressed. I will go through the whole thread another time. But may I now ask about the 3/5 rule for citizenship application: Does it mean 5 years of residency in Canada or anywhere? Meaning, can I apply for citizenship after only 3 years of residency in Canada as PR (2 years before that, outside Canada)?
Thank you.

Hello, All
I have one more question under employment history, Do I have to mention all position held over same period of time like I used to work one casual and one full time job at same time.

Thank you.

Yes list all your work history and do not leave any gaps.

Yes you are eligible to apply for citizenship after three years. But in the forms you have to list your activities for the last 5 years.

Hi, Just a quick question
What type of information immigration do get from CRA, Do they get access to T4's and RRSP contribution and what do they mean by income tax history?

Hello @spyfy Thanx for the post

1- for section 11 most of my employers never had a physical office in the city/province I work and live so under section " Address of place of employment, study or other activity " I have put the address of the head offices, which were on my T4 and the under the section of "City" I have mentioned the city I work/live.

2- and if I am currently working for the company under the "To" ( date yyyy-mm) section I have written "PRESENT" or can I write "TO DATE" or should I put the signing date there.

Is it the right way to go about it.

An acknowledgment or correction (suggestion) from you will be highly appreciated.
Thanx

Hi all, for question 9b, do you put in the actual date we got the status or the start of the eligibility period and how do you treat any gaps in terms of implied status between work permit renewal or study permit and work permit?
