Is it safe to use third party to retrieve GCMS notes like GetGCMS? Could they get access to retrieve anything in my profile, like proof of fund docs (bank balance) etc?..

I am the same as you too - AOR 22nd Oct. I requested the notes a week ago. Though when I called the agent a few days later they said my file has been paused due to the notes request. I am unsure if this halts the progress of my application, or just updates to the agents system. Thought I'd warn you, so if you do call CIC you can always ask. I keep wondering would they take this long to suddenly give out a rejection? Or is this something that is done earlier on in the process? I keep thinking the worst, as this has happened to work colleagues of mine around the 5 month mark, for silly reasons.

But you haven't exceed the 6 months yet. You don't know the details of you colleague's application, maybe he wasn't qualified or maybe they asked of a document he couldn't provide on time. There is no reason to think that the same might happen to you. Let's just stay positive for now

you mean the ppr email arrived only in your personal gmail/yahoo inbox, and not any indication on the website?? I have been looking only at the GCkey website so far. What about the "messages about your application" section there?

yes, they will update the applicants account later... once they received Passport for stamp.
