GIC Update

Hi Friends,

Can Any one help me for below query on ASAP basis :

1) I have Transferred Money from India bank HDFC on 11th March to Scotia Bank, Also Received Swift trnsfer invoice from HDFC bank on 11th March.

2) Till date i have not revived any intimation or mail from Scotia bank for any thing.

3) More how long will it take for "Investment Directions Confirmation" mail with attachment ?

4) More how long will it take for Visa Approval and bio metric to complete ?

5) my College will start on May 6th. please advise for above all points.

1 & 2 : Call ScotiaBank and get your GIC ASAP.

3 : GIC = Investment Directions Confirmation = Issued as soon as payment is received.

4 : Depends whether paper or online , On paper you submit it to your VFS and they take biometrics the same day.

5) Good luck and make sure you submit your file before the deadline, April 1.

you must have opened the gic acc in icici bank canada... i transfered on 11 march.... i got gic on 12 march at 7 pm

I TOO SUBMITTED MY GIC AMOUNT ON 12 MARCH TILL DATE NO UPDATE.
JUST CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE MONEY AND WILL SEND THE CERTIFICATE WITHIN 1-2 DAYS. hOPE FOR BEST. i LL UPDATE HERE

Hi also transferred on 11 through HDFC,

Got GIC ceticertifi after 7 days,

You must mail your swift copy of your transaction to the same email address that you received the mail from, regarding the payment ceredentials

I got my GIC Certificate on 18th March
