Use of representative

Can anyone advice on this section?

I was thinking of not using anyone to represent my wife and myself for the application. But I was reading and it said I can be a representative for my wife who I'm sponsoring.

Any suggestions on this? should I be the representative of my wife who I'm sponsoring or should I just skip this step and not use any representative?

Thank you

I filled out the form to be the representative for my husband because it allows me to have access to the app online and over the phone. Since we are applying outland and he is still living in Zambia, it is much easier for me in Canada to have the authority to deal with all aspects of the app not just the sponsor's side.

Thank you, that makes much more sense of having the authority to handle the applicant's side.

It may depend on the country from which the PA resides. Their emails are not always guaranteed.
If you act as an unpaid representative in Canada then you will have access to all the information from IRCC.
You can communicate that with your wife through any means.
