Passport renewal after AOR and Biometrics

Need your help, we applied Nov 2018 and now our file was transferred to Local Visa Office.

My wife's passport (she is PA getting sponsored) is expiring June 2019, now our documents are in Local Visa Office, what we have to do now? Most likely our file will no be finalized before June 2019.
She just passed biometrics and medicals. I'm not sure, what we have to do now.

I have the same situation. Mine will expire November and some guys advised I can renew my passport and update the details in webform.

My main concern is about biometrics because they scanned her passport. I'm not sure if its ok to renew passport if you passed biometrics with old one.

To be honest i have no idea. But it was better she asked them.

It’s fine to update. You just needed a valid passport at the time you took them. You need to renew and then update Cic via the Webform once it’s arrived as the PPR letter states you need at least six months left on your passport when they request it.

i got biometrics for visitor visa , given biometrics but my passport got damage and i renewed my passport after biometrics.. do i have to submit new passport to canadian embassy and how ? i applied online from india.

If you notify IRCC in a timely manner that you have renewed your passport and it`s done well in advance of PPR, then there should be no delay.
