This request for passport seems positive sign....if they were looking to refuse you they wouldn't be asking for additional documents for sure....

Exactly...it looks very promising. i'm simply glad to have received the adr 2 weeks back, --and then i just received my gcms notes 2 days ago. So now i am a mixture of being anxious/ confident.

Im thinking of writing to my visa ofc..

Hi @legalfalcon,
(anyone can also answer)

I have received adr for passport biopage copy + height & eye color last Feb 19.

I ordered gcms January 30.

With my current gcms as mentioned above (which is very bothering), can you suggest if i have to order another gcms? With the adr received recently, i should feel confident abt my application, just a bit worried.

Or can i write an email to to LVO to inquire an update?

Thank you
This is a routine ADR. When you receive your GCMS notes, see where your application is at and if required you can order a new set.

Hi @legalfalcon - Can you please help me with these queries:

1) My Eligibility is not met because of wrong NOC as per notes. I have raised CSE already requesting change of NOC Code to 2282 (as I put in 2281 on main application online by mistake). Do you think they will accept it and approve or still refuse? As in from past cases what do you reckon are my chances?

2) They did not mention anything about funds check anywhere on the notes. What does that mean?

NOC match is always for the roles/job duties you have performed and not necessarily for the job title. Your job duties mentioned in the reference letter should match with the job duties of the NOC you selected or in this case the corrected NOC

What did they reply in the CSE?

And there are lots of cases where they approved....
If they reject, we have the option to go to court and win the case as there is a case in past where the Applicant one it in first hearing....So based on previous exact cases we can take immigration to court and win...Check this out:

https://www.immigration.ca/fr/song-v-canada-citizenship-and-immigration
Mate, that's a lot of hassle and will probably be expensive.

What you should do is send a second LOE via CSE explaining your mistake with the wrong NOC and tell them what is the correct NOC and that matches with the job duties as per the experience letter.

I agree....I will wait for a week or so and then send another one again....Usually for 'Eligibility not met' cases they don't look at the file for about an year if stuck at Sydney CIO....

I know Sydney CIO is slow but not sure about that. They could probably move to your Local VO so they can carry out the checks

They do not need to carry any more checks...if you see the notes, the CPA has stated all job responsibilities and everything matches....It is just the primary NOC I chose on the online form that is 2281 instead of 2282....Mistake on my behalf while choosing from drop down menu....
