Just got off the phone with the call center, She said they are processing end of December right now, but obviously i know that Jan applicants are getting their AOR now so... blegh. Information is in the system, i have a temporary number that i apparently cant use to link, so im not sure what im supposed to do with it

I did however get confirmation of implied status sent to my email, for me to give to my employers for when my work permit runs out so it wasnt a total waste of 40 minutes ha
Does the temporary number look like XF000000000?

Also, if you are on IEC, be careful with the implied status and what it means: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/spousal-sponsorship-iec-implied-status.562839/#post-6969581

Hey,
You can use your temporary number to check your status through the same number.
Just remove the X when you type it in the automated system

YES, what do i do with it??? Where do i go?
Drop the X, and it will be your real application number once you get AOR. You can use it to check status in ECAS, link your application to GCKey, and check the status through the automated phone line (same phone number you called today, but different options - it's the same information that you will have on GCKey, but if you have trouble linking your application, it's an alternative to get updates on your application).

Yeah, you probably won't be able to access until you get AOR (or a few hours to a day before).
If I remember correctly, the options for the automated phone line are: 1 (for English)-1-2-3 and you will have to put the application number and PA's year of birth.

Yes, this is the country specific requirement that I mean. I am an inland applicant from Hong Kong and I got the same instruction. So, I didn't provide the PCC upfront. (I am waiting for AOR only, hopefully it won't be returned....)
Yeah you will be okay, when the instructions say that you don’t need to provide it upfront and CIC will request it when they need it

You do have to check country specific requirements to know when to send the police certificate:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how.html

For example, I am an inland applicant from Mexico and the instructions are:

Do I need to provide a police certificate with my application? No. We’ll send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your application for permanent residence or citizenship. You must bring that letter when you apply for a police certificate.

So when to send the police certificate really is up to the nationality
Thanks Carlos25 for the update :)

Have you also received you AOR?
If yes, that's awesome and good news
Yeah. Thanks! :)
I linked the application yesterday on GCKey and today I got the AOR and was able to see the status on ECAS. Just waiting for updates on the OWP application now.
