This is happening only to June applicants. We are jinxed it seems.
Even my application got approved and I received ppr after 3.5 months from approval. I was so frustrated that I even thought of withdrawing my application. Don’t know what’s wrong with these guys or system whatever.
DAMN!! That is freaking depressing :(

Just when you thought the long painful wait is over this kills it :(

Is it an ADR or are you being proactive?
Trying to show current POF should be your own bank statements not your dad's showing that you've maintained the required POF throughout this period of application processing.

If you already submitted a gift deed initially to explain why there was a sudden influx of funds then now is not the time to do that again.

Thank you guys for the help. I have uploaded current POF.

I was moved to ip2 last week and I was in rr pof. Prior to that my criminality and security didn't start. Last week They updated my account and I saw "We are processing background checks". This week They asked for current POF.

Good!! I hope you submitted bank statements not a gift deed.

Hi Tobs, what is the issue in submitting a gift deed with updated POF?
I took 1800CAD from my parents as a gift and attached the gift deed along with my updated POF. Since I have only one bank account which I use for all my expenditures.

Hello everyone,
I was just wondering, can a change in Canadian's government affect our PR process/status? Mr. Trudeau's government currently being in a sensitive position might not be reelected...

No need to worry for you personally. Even if the Liberals do lose the October election, and even if the Conservatives do go to the extreme and cancel a large chunk of immigration like the new Quebec government, which I don't think they will; you will have a lot of legal actions launched against them federal-wide which would be a very long process. For example:

https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/quebe...he-case-of-18-000-immigration-files-1.4312257

By the time everything is said and done, you would have your PR already.

For better or worse, in a democracy nothing dramatic get done quick.

Some points about the processing time of applications:

Guys, it’s so funny! Please go the link below and choose, Economic Immigration, then Skilled workers (Quebec). Now, if you haven’t applied yet, it takes 15-17 months, but if you already applied it takes 20 months!!!!! So, if a person who applied already withdrew and apply again, his processing would be 3-5 months earlier?!!! Honestly what kind of sh*t does it mean?

For work permit extension with the same employer, on Feb. 10th, they were working on the files that were received on Nov. 18th. Now, they updated it and it seems that as of Feb 24th, they are working on the files received on Nov. 11th!!!! Does it mean that after 2 weeks of work, they returned back to the files that were finished a week before!

If processing time of these categories is this rubbish, how much we should trust the 6 month timeline?!!!

I tellya what it means.... the policy of immigration is changed as of Jan 2019... so older files are taking time or ADRs are being sent out... more scrutiny and new policies in place.. there was a time they were gonna diregard 18k applications but they lost the lawsuit put by public and innovation and secuirty dept of canada..

Yup.. nothing will change much... what can change is more scrutiny for asylum seekers...plus some changes in people who don have job in canada... which conservative rely heavy on... but u cannot say they might make alberta and few provinces happy by changing litle bit of immigration policy... But keep in mind .. Canda birth ratio is so low , that if immigartion is not done by 2030 ... things can go real bad

That is a standard response, they probably won't ask for ADR during CSE lol. For that the VO will directly contact you
