I don't think anyone here can say how long it will take. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do except to wait. My application has been "recommended passed" since December (and is pending) and no further updates since then (so that's at least 2 months since the recommended pass by the analyst). I called in January and no updates in my file. Total processing time will be 6 months in 2 days.
I really wanna know by what standard they pick the file to continue to process?

My AOR is 6th Sep. The only thing I can do is to wait...

Finally manage

Finally managed to get through to an agent. Apparently, my file says "eligibility passed", but the BGC has not started. They said that if there is no response from the Ottawa office by the end of the month (which would be 16 days after the 6 month mark) they would send them a message to make sure the process is moved along. While there is still no movement, I think it is still good news. At least now I know what to expect.
Are u CEC ?

I recently changed my contact number, and have updated CIC about it via the CSE Web Form. I have about 10 days left to reach the 6 months milestone and I am still in IP1 stage. Will the update to my contact number further delay the process? and How long does it take for CIC to update my new number on the application?

Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you very much!
