Got curious and decided to check my own application, and was surprised to see that I, too, received the status bar, despite my application being completed! Here's what it looks like once finished:

We're done processing your application.

Hi,
My status changed from "You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date" (Dec 2018) to
"Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along." (Jan,2019)

Anyone has the same status as me?
I got ITA under Alberta PNP (met PNP and CEC)

This is good I think. I also received the same on 28th Dec 2018. My AoR November 2018. I received ITA under MPNP.

Well, based on the progress bar, it clearly indicates that the entire process takes 6months.
From the feedback that I have seen so far, the process can take between 3-6 month if you have all your documents right.

Thanks for your response

Even if you cleared your medical sin April, your timeline is already above 6 months. Did you order GCMS notes? Only way to know what's going on with your application
Just a follow up in case someone is in the same situation.
I am still waiting. Applied at the beginning of March.
I ordered the GCMS in November. Still waiting.
I went to the MP office to see what was going on.
He called immigration but they told him they are doing background checks
and it would take two more months. They said the same thing three months ago.

Mine in MPnP as well. Got changed to you may not hear summary 2 days back. How long you had to wait to get the new status? And what is your current status now?
I am still waiting. It calls for patience.

My progress bar/tracker disappeared a few days back. My AOR is Feb 12, so not that I was expecting any progress by now, but i wasn't expecting the tracker to just disappear. Anybody else see the same thing?

Yeah, I have observed it disappeared like 2 weeks back and I see it reappeared today with a message asking for submission of Biometrics. My AOR is Jan 25

Helllo there,
I have just recieved an email regarding an update for this new progress bar, which i was unable to find it in the system. Hopefully I could sign in after 24 hours and see if it appears. I have been patient with cic for about 11 months now, I am planning to contact them when my application turn 12 months. Crossing finger for something miracle to happen.
