Receiving PR cards separately or together?

So my children and I have all been approved for PR, completed our landing, passports stamped etc on 31st December 2018.

I received my PR card in the mail last week, however it was only a card for me.... none for my children, and none have followed in the past 7 days. I would have expected they would all be processed and mailed together.

Any experience or advice if the cards for the one family application will arrive separately or is it usually together?

Thanks!

Separately. Cards are individually mailed.

but is it common for them to have such a delay between the cards being received?
Yes - perfectly normal. It's not unusual for there to be a couple of weeks difference. It's Canada Post after all...

you may also need to check the PR card application, if CIC ask your kids to re-take the photo.
That's my experience........

Hi! I was searching for this topic. My situation is similar to yours, and I would like to know how many time you had to wait for your dependents' PR cards. Mine (main applicant) was delivered on Monday, but my husband haven't received his yet. He's an inland dependent. I was so sad when I saw only one envelope inside my mailbox :( Thanks in advance!

Sometimes they're just maild out on different days. Don't worry until the difference is >3 or 4 weeks. (Four family members, PR cards were mostly on different days wihtin 2 week period.)

Thank you very much for your response. It made me feel less anxious.

Similar situation. Family of 2. In my case the status says 'dispatched .wait for 6 weeks' on the linked application and card approved on the same day for both.

.... I have received it. My spouse has not. Anyone faced this ? :/

Yes. Did you read the thread above? They are mailed separately, they may not leave facility on same day, Canada post, etc. Perfectly normal
