Hey everyone,
I have a question regarding PCC. Right now my status is AOR Jan 14th and my MEP has passed and they have asked for Biometrics. My concern is, I've submitted PCC from local district police station in India not the one obtained through Passport seva Kendriya. Do you think that's a problem and if I should still get a PCC from PSK and send it to IRCC. I have raised a CSE regarding this, hoping to get information faster in case if someone knows here.

Thanks,
Anish
As long as your certificate from local police station covers all the residences in India that you've lived, you should be ok.

For example, if you lived in Delhi and Punjab, you need to get two police certificates - one from Delhi and one from Punjab and if they have dates on them, the dates to should entire residence period in each of the two states.

If you get a certificate from PSK, then it covers all of India.

Getting a PCC from PSK is a lot better. Less hassle since it covers up whole India

Hi everyone,

My AOR is November 14. 2018 and moved to IP2 on January 21. I ordered my GCMS notes on January 29 and got them yesterday. My security isn't started and my criminality is passed. For eligibility, it shows review required with a note to review the Proof of Funds documents (the POF eDoc numbers match). As noted in the GCMS notes, I have shown bank accounts that have funds in excess ******* and I wrote I will bring ****** Canada. I have shown my proof through two banks accounts, ****** ) which is solely in my name and ********* where my spouse is the primary account holder and I am the secondary account holder. ****** account was opened in April 2018 (6 months before APR) and I uploaded monthly statements for the prior months for the *******

Question 1: Does anyone have any idea or theory why there is a Review Required for the POF eDoc?
Question 2: Should I send them another account where I have more than ****** solely in my name and which is a much older account (~5 years)?

I am attaching screenshots of the GCMS notes and the bank POF document that I had uploaded (removed the monthly statements)

TMI ! Good for you but no need to convince us of your financials. Protect yourself online: avoid divulging account balances to all of us on the internet, if you are able to go back and edit this post it is safer to do so. Do what you must with your application to prove income & financial stability, but it is not the be-all-end-all of any application. Please protect yourself by hiding the names of your banks and their account balances as well as how much money you plan to bring into Canada. We even know according to your post when your bank account was opened and at what bank. Savvy hackers can track your IP or set up fishing forms now that we where exactly you bank and your bank balances. I work in cyber crimes and this is no joke. :) Just hide your financial information and where you bank. It is much safer this way!

Thats not entirely true. Are you sure about this. If that's the case , I'll never get my PR. I've loans pending - $15k on my car ,$160k on house & $2k on my credit cards when I applied back in November.
I strongly believe outstanding loans and/or credit card bills are not counted against you.
That's correct. It shouldn't have any effect on your application. I called the helpline and they told me it shouldn't have any effect on my application and that's why I continued with that bank statement. But as I said, the officers sometimes do whatever they want.

Hi,
I might be in a similar situation. Can anyone please advice on the following,
I applied on Nov 5 and I had 24K in my account that day. I also uploaded my credit card bill till date which had no outstanding amount.
But I paid PR application fee which is $2300 on Nov 5 using my credit card. I paid that amount in December's credit card bill.
Will VO deduct this amount from POF..?? How will they know about it...?? The Credit card bill I submitted along with my application, did not have this bill...But they would know I paid the application fee with credit card that day.
Should I go upload new POF..?? Please advice...
They won't know and you have nothing to worry about.

Car loans and home loans are secured loans so they don't have any effect on your application.

I have noticed many people getting PPR with home loans.

I agree with what you say here but even if OP deletes his original post, I believe, your quote of the original post will not be deleted. So, to help the OP may be you should delete your message as well.

US applicants - any suggestions on how to proceed further . Are you guys mailing over the documents directly to Ottawa CPC ? I am planning to send them over via New York VFS, please suggest if anyone is familiar with NY VFS services.

Thank you.
I am mailing to the Ottawa office. I believe there are detailed instructions on how to mail them using Fedex.

I got it through GCMSBuddy. It's a fair one and cheaper than getgcms. I got it on the 32nd day of ordering. Go For It!
Thank you !I have crossed 100 days thinking of ordering them once I reach 120 days mark. So,looking at the notes it seems your profile is now at IP2? Or is it still showing BG will start soon?

My online profile shows still ip1. You can either order now or by crossing 120 days. I recommend the latter.

Because your case is stuck at PCC issue that's why didn't proceed to eligibility . But normally eligibility starts within 90 days.
To be honest, I don't think its actually stuck. Looks more like no one touched it after R10, not like there is a review required for it. All info sharing and RCMP where done with NRT, and R10 mentions PC from home country checked - NRT.

Its hard to say when to order notes, as each case is different.
For some eligibility is done before BG...
