The agent told me that it was pushed. He only said it was pushed due to backlogs
If you order notes, you notice that your file moves around quite a bit due to workload redistribution. It happens to almost everyone and it is completely normal. Also, don't expect that all the steps gets done in one office. They have different offices for different purposes. So, your file moves a lot
Don't know what was your discussion with the agent, but definitely no reason to worry. For the 100th time ( :D), please stay calm.

So I just got off phone from a super awesome agent called Christine.

She told me my application is still in early stages at CPC-Ottawa, Eligibility - Not started, Security - Not Started, Criminality - Not Started. . Even though the application has been moved to June 11, 2019 for completion date but it doesn't really mean it will be completed only on that date. It is only a precautionary step taken by the responsible office. This is perfectly normal as there are many applications going through the same process. The application could be processed way before the estimated processing time too.

As of now, Everything in my application looks good and so far there is no indication whether anything has been flagged for review.

When I asked her about RPRF whether it speeds up process, she laughed and replied she could send me an email with instructions on how to pay if I really wish to pay it now or I could wait till I am formally invited to pay RPRF. These days, RPRF has no significance in the processing times, so it's entirely upto me to decide what to do.

She repeatedly said that it is perfectly normal for applications nowadays to not have any background checks started even after 3 months. However, they try their best to process all applications within the 6 month timeframe, so I shouldn't really stress about it.
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve by not paying RRPF upfront. You should have done this it in the beginning.
Whenever there is a request made from IRCC, there is a hold that is put on the file and is reviewing after x number of days.
Even though the delay could be few days or few weeks, the delay could have been avoided by paying everything upfront.
Good luck!

I agree..thankfully our agent adviced us right and we paid the fees upfront..anyways all the best:) hope you get your PPR very soon. Not paying the entire fees upfront is actually one of the reasons when your file is put on hold.

I don't mind getting the PPR later after RPRF request. Atleast it's a relief for me to know my file is moving.

For me waiting for a week or 2 after RPRF request isn't big deal when I have had long painful waits to get RPRF in the first place

I have just replied a few posts above.

As per the agent I spoke to, not having any updates at this stage is very normal.

If you would have paid RRPF upfront, your file would have still moved ahead without any delays.
Once you get RRPF request and you pay the money, it would take a week or two weeks or even month or months to process your application further depending upon how long the hold is put.
It is a unnecessary delay that you have created for yourself which could have avoided in the first place.

Yes I know. I took an unnecessary risk but I have seen people getting PPR within a week or 2 after RPRF request so I hope same happens here, I don't mind!!

Wish I had paid earlier though but I am okay with it

7 weeks since RPrf requested and paid! So...
Also, the RPrf request letter mentioned a hold of 7 days before they will continue the processing!

Quick question.
The place where I worked for 7 months, it does not have an online presence. There is no website and all, as it operates locally. They pay by cash, and I do not have any salary stubs or bank documents to confirm it. They provided me a letter with everything required.

I am asking because I saw this from somebody's GCMS notes:
How will the BG check happen (The below says "WEB BASED SEARCH")? When my company is not even on the internet, will it cause a review required?

*REVIEW REQUIRED* - eDoc# ******* - Web-based search confirms employer information NOTE: DIFFERENT LOGO / SAME DOMAIN NAME / SAME OFFICE ADDRESS / PHOTO OF PA APPEARS ON EMPLOYER'S WEBSITE MISTAKE ON THE LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT REGARDING THE STARTING DATE LETTER CONFIRMS FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT JOB DESCRIPTION CONSISTENT WITH DECLARED NOC PA PROVIDED W-2 WAGE AND TAX STATEMENT FOR 2017 - Letter confirms salary of *****hour - Documented Income Provided: Pay stubs from 2018 (eDoc# *******) FSW Work: 0 years(s) 0 month(s) of 1 year(s) - REVIEW REQUIRED CRS Foreign Work: 0 years(s) 0 month(s) of 2 year(s) - REVIEW REQUIRED
