Oh weird -- I thought it was based purely on citizenship, not residence.

Just for my own timeline as another Vienna VO person, could you tell me how long it took to receive AOR2 or confirmation when Vienna started working on it?
Technically, they choose visa office based on your residence address and ask you to submit the visa copy of your residence country.

Is anybody having this same problem like me?

I always call IRCC and check my GCKEY through the the automated voice system.
Today, I’ve tried to check my status several times, it kept saying ‘Application not found’.

I checked called last night and it was fine. But Idk what’s wrong today?

I am tensed.

Probably has to do with this (quote from GCKeys site)

This online service will be unavailable from 3:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Eastern time, on Tuesday February 26, 2019, in order to perform system maintenance.

application submitted in August and medical passed January 8th, finger prints done. file moved to london office mid January. What to expect from there on? Is there any chance this can all be done within 2 months or so or is London office extremely slow?

also, by now the police certificate would have expired, will the ask for a new one?

I'd say 2 months is very optimistic. Looking at other applicants applying before us, I'd say 3-4 months from now is more realistic. Unfortunately, they are very very slow indeed...

I have seen many cases where Police certificates or medical is expired but they issued the visa without asking for resubmission. They probably won’t ask you either.
Iranian police certificate is valid for only one month, mine was expired even before they recived it in Sydney.

it would be lucky for you even if they do so in coming 6 months because as per the pattern ,, the LVO's applicants have to wait for quite a time.. sometimes the total time for the application reaches 1.5 years from the beginning to the end. yes my timeline is quite the same as yours, my file was transferred on 17th january 2019. and yes pcc is for 6 months, they ask for another one if 6 months have passed for your pcc.

Hi everyone, hope the waiting period goes as smooth as possible for all of us!
Do you have a whats app group for August applicants?
If so please send me the link.
Thanks

Hi all. We got DM on Sunday but we are wondering next steps please. PA in U.K. but application being processed in Mississauga. What happenens next? When can we receive COPR and will we be informed it has been posted? Thank you for your help.

I received a call from NVDO India. They asked how i met my husband, where we got married she asked a couple of more questions. We got married in St Lucia they asked if we arranged a reception in India as mentioned in application. We cancelled a reception and planned Europe and Egypt trip instead. I told her truth. She asked me if I have the picture of family gathering and Europe trip pictures. She gave an email id where to forward the documents to. I am confused if that was an interview or a normal call to get more details. Has anyone received a call like this before?

My timeline is as follows:
File recvd: 16-08-2018
AOR1: 26-10-2018
SA:28-10-2018
Med Passed: 15-11-2018
BGC in process 14-01-2019
AOR2: 30-01-2019
