Hi,
I know this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it in the history of this forum. Do I need to check "Application Status" online to know if my application is moving forward or I will be notified through email if something change in my application?

Note: I am waiting for the "In Progress" status

you will get email/mail for AOR, Citizenship test request and finger print request (doesn't apply to all).
Status updating to "In Progress" is only monitored online through eCAS.

It seems people who are in GTA area, their application taking more time compared to BC, AB, QC. I think December applications may drag to July/Aug for interview dates. What you guys think?

That s true I am in Toronto and waiting AOR more then 2 months but I didn't get it yet

Hi Guys,

I received my AOR today, I applied as family application but i received AOR email only for myself not my wife. What could be the reason for not AOR email for my wife.
