Need help with landing interview
Im April 23rd applicant
Got Landing interview on fab/26 at IRCC Etobicoke office
In the landing letter they have requested my current SIN number
Which is always same never changed
But ut has been expired from a while now
So should I renew my SIN first or that would be okay if i take my old SIN with me i mean which has been expired???
Any help or comments will be appreciated

Yes, take your old SIN with you. Once you complete your interview you can take your old SIN to the nearest Service Canada office. They will issue you a new SIN that does not start with "9". Your old SIN will be linked to your new SIN and then you will never need the old one again.

It also does not matter that it is expired. If you were able to renew it (which you only can with a work permit) the case worker would simply re-activate the old number.

I got my Aip and SA on Saturday 23 February 2019 and both my online account is Decision made both side , I really thank God for this .Am fail refugee and I thought my application will take long but now am relief, I want to know when will I received my landing interview?
App received 30 April
Medical requested 25 Sept. 2018
Medical received 14 Oct 2018
Passport request 9 January 2019
Decision made both side 22 Feb 2019
Aip and SA 23 Feb 2019
Decision made letter waiting

This is our timeline so far.

OWP approved : July 18th
Medical passed : October (I had done upfront)
Background check : Jan 30th (now in progress and passed security checks)



And This is what exactly my wife’s eCAS said

Isn’t it weird tho?
I have no idea what exactly going on

3. Medical results have been received.

I’m still waiting and there’s no any updates.
But some Mid and Late April applicants are getting DM and SA/AIP...
I’m so stressed out and confused.

I’m so stressed out and confused.

I would suggest not stressing out over few days/weeks delay. Lots of march applicants in march thread also waiting around at multiple stages. Just wait it out.

I agree it doesn't sound like they're very consistent and timelines vary by a few weeks. Also , they're not the best at updating ECAS/myCIC in a straightforward manner

In Toronto but my AIP and the SA is from Vancouver .waiting for my landing letter

What documents we need to bring passpport, photographs and SIN
Anything else like bank statements or anything?
Also what kind of questions do they as ?

Oh, I assumed you did not have a work permit (since you can't work without a SIN anyway).

In that case it wouldn't hurt to re-activate it. Not sure if it's required though.

Nothing to worry. It happened to me last month. After that the status came back after few days

You think they refused my application thats why there is no record?
I checked this morning and it was fine and they were doing my bgc
Now i lost my sleep after finding out that.
Im scared
