My Medical was done on July-2018, CIC received the Medical and after that no any update from CIC.

Good day Everyone
Am also having same issue, submitted an app in May 2018 and the last time I heard from them was August 31 2018 and it was just an email that I received notifying me that my app had been forwarded to my Visa office and ever since then it has been a complete shutdown. I tried reaching out to the Visa office and all I get is an automated email telling me that my app is on queue and if they need anything they will reach out to me . They requested for some additional documents which had submitted since June 2018 and when I check my online status it never changed even after I submitted, to cut the long story short there has never been any update on my status and that is freaking me and my wifey out. My wife is a Canadian and am a Nigerian, we were living together in Canada but eventually I was asked to leave due to a refugee failed application. Can anybody shed a light to this kind of darkness though, thanks in advance.

this is quite common... we went from july to march with absolutely no communication... then one day we got prearrival email then PPR...

Well that would really make much sense knowing fully well that your long waiting wasn't in vain.....but I get to understand that the only way one can survive this whole stuff is just to be patience and stay optimistic that one day the good news will come through and it will be on the least day that one would expect. Wishing everybody waiting on this processing good luck and remain blessed.

Call the hotline number 1 888 242 2100 press 1, 1, 2, 3 that’s an automated system you can hear any update on your application all you need is your application number hope you hear good news o your application

No. I didn't call and I have been worried since July-2018.

You should call them and see whats going on. If its more then 1 year you have the right to know. You can also ask your MP to help you getting this info. BUT if its less then 1 year, and they tell you its in process than you have nothing to do but wait. I would at least get this confirmation that theyre working on it and its not lost somewhere in the system.

Similar situation here. February 2018 app, had meds completed and passed in April. File transferred to Los Angeles on June 7 2018 and have received no updates since. 9 months being left in the dark.

Hello same issue, and my issue is.more big then every one, my spouse visa application submitted on Jan 2018,medical done in march,and that is almost expire now.
My file send to London visa office on April 2018 after that I haven't received any single mail. I have put enquiry but they didn't ans yet,
Its almost 15 months now, please anybody can help.me??
