Well, it seems like this is a rather recent thing with the IRCC, so maybe it actually does mean something or other, but since it's new there's no one who has gone through it before to tell us. I guess we'll find out... eventually! Until then, I guess I'll just go by eCAS only when it comes to the PA's application progress.
Ya, eveeeeeeeentually : ) Lucky you for having Vienna as your VO, seems London is a true swamp where applications just get stuck...

I haven't received any updates after medical either. Applied a few month before you, just suck it up and be patient. UAE or Pakistan makes no difference as both are processed in London, the slowest VO of all. Again, count on waiting 12 months and anything below that is a present.
My GCKey account says that they started processing my application on 31st Jan 2019. The eligibility and background checks are in review. But it doesn't mention anything about the file transfer to LVO. Bio-metrics and Medical have been completed / passed.

How did you come to know that the file has been transferred to LVO London?

Pakistan + all Middle Eastern countries (including UAE) are processed in London (and UK, Ireland + most nordic countries as well) Eventually you will get an e-mail saying your file has been either transferred to London or Mississauga (some applicants get their application processed in Mississauga and it's very random, they do this to relieve some of the burden of local VO's - in that case you would be lucky as they usually process in a few weeks time) If it goes to London, which most likely will be the case, then you just got to prepare for a long wait (but like they state on their website, it can take up to 12 months)

Do i have to write my spouse ( the sponsor, canadian citizen) and our baby ( currently in the process of applying for canadian citizenship) ‘s information in the appendix B form. Any replies from people who has or experience the same situation will be very much appreciated. Thanks u so much

As someone whose LVO is also Vienna, I'm just curious why your application was sent there if the PA is from Afghanistan (normally the VO would be Abu Dhabi). Does the PA have another citizenship?

Oh weird -- I thought it was based purely on citizenship, not residence.

Just for my own timeline as another Vienna VO person, could you tell me how long it took to receive AOR2 or confirmation when Vienna started working on it?

My app was sent initially to Sydney NS 16 AUG, Later on December 24 transferred to Vienna VO and on January 15 2019 ECAS added a line saying we started processing the PA app.
