Okay thanks for the information. Probably the agents are not fully aware of the processNo I am Pakistani.
I got the same reply from the agent too. What they meant was, make sire the bank account you are sending the amount from is yours, and under your name. Do not send it through Western Union.Okay thanks for the information. Probably the agents are not fully aware of the process
That's good to hear as I was very confused with their response. They told me that if I'm a Pakistani, I can only transfer money from a bank in Pakistan At first he wasn't even aware if such facility exists in their bank. This happened twicealso I online transferred the amount. I didn’t have to go visit any branch. It was very easy this way.
Don’t be. Already did it twice, once through my account and the other through husband’s. They take 5-7 working days to confirm that they have received your transfer. You can use that as proof of funds at landing. That's good to hear as I was very confused with their response. Would you have any email address of them. I am trying connect with them over their general email, but there seems to be no response.Just realised I never updated here. So my husband and I sent online transfer to Scotiabank through the Start Right program. We had absolutely no problems in doing so. Once we landed we opened our accounts & were given the option to join our amounts together and place it in a savings account. I am really happy with Scotiabank’s services.
Just go on to their website and you’ll be able to find someone to talk to. Theres always a chatbox that pops up in contact us sectionWould you have any email address of them. I am trying connect with them over their general email, but there seems to be no response.
Moreover, thank you for sharing your experience.

Any mode works.Pakistan has limit to carry maximum cash of US $10K. Would it be okay to bring C$12K in cash and C$3-4K to transfer to Scotia bank showing total as proof of funds?
