To be honest. I think it's because she's pregnant and I gave them an earful and tones of calls and pleas to move it faster so she could land before birth. So they hurried ppr. Application was submitted Aug 7
Thanks for the prompt response, I appreciate.

Isn’t the digital version (PDF) of fbi Clearance and the original are the same?
And also, did you not submit the physical fbi report with your application?

I did not submit the physical report with my application.

I thought digital was original but was asked to submit all PCCs again so i submitted the physical copy.

@dorkismalorkis, you might want to note this and adopt a similar strategy! ;)

I have received the RPRF Request on 13th
February 2019.

Application recieved- 7th August
Medical passed
Biometrics done.
Additional documents- PCC submitted online.
Application was forwarded to Singapore VO on 3rd Jan.
AOR2 on 14th Jan.
BGC started processing in (mid) December.

Is there anything to worry about? I have received RPRF but no Pre-Arrival yet.
Does this mean I have to face an interview? Or the RPRF Requestesd means no interview? But what about the pre-arrival? Should I expect PPR next?

AOR 2 is the acknowledgement of your application when your file is transferred to your local visa office which for pakistan is LONDON VISA OFFICE. yes every spousal immigration file is transferred to local visa office, local visa offices for different countries are different e.g., LVO( london visa office for pakistan and a few other countries )
the procedure to be completed in local visa office is the eligibility of principal applicant who is being sponsored to canada , the genuineness of marriage, and the back ground check of the applicant (security checks criminality checks etc ) and then on the basis of your application they finalize your immigration and send you PPR ( passport request ) so that they stamp your passport with the spousal visa.
here's the link to another thread on this forum where you can see the pattern for pakistani applicants whose cases are processed at LVO.

But my country of residence is UAE not Paksitan. Let's see. I got no updates after passing the medical exam.

I haven't received any updates after medical either. Applied a few month before you, just suck it up and be patient. UAE or Pakistan makes no difference as both are processed in London, the slowest VO of all. Again, count on waiting 12 months and anything below that is a present.

Hey guys, is it for you in eCAS explicitly stated that they work on your background? In GCKEYS it's stated like that, but in eCAS there's only:
  1. We started processing XXXnameXXX application on January 24, 2019.

Same here -- GCKey says they're working on background, eCAS does not (and it has always been like that in GCKey, since the day we got AOR1). There are others in the same position, which makes me think that something new is going on with the way they use GCKey, but so far I have no idea what it all means!

Thnx for sharing! Yes same here, initially that got me really excited, thought they were already working on everything... But unfortunately, it doesn't really mean anything at all : (

Well, it seems like this is a rather recent thing with the IRCC, so maybe it actually does mean something or other, but since it's new there's no one who has gone through it before to tell us. I guess we'll find out... eventually! Until then, I guess I'll just go by eCAS only when it comes to the PA's application progress.
