Hi Everyone!
I gave my test today and passed.During the interview the officer was checking the passport and asked how many times we were in USA.Last year we want by car for a day trip to Montana, we went in the morning and came back in the evening, so I didnt include this trip in the calculator.The officer asked to give a permission for usa check up to see how long we spent there overall.I am so worried.Please if u have any similar situations share with me.We have a long journey until citizenship and I guess I screw it up((

If you still have enough number of days to be eligible at the time of your application then you have nothing to worry about.

I passed my exam and interview today here in Montréal.

The officer told me to wait about 2-3 months to be invited to appear in the Oath taking ceremony.

I got a request to do fingerprints for some RCMP criminal check. While I know I have no such record, it's still a little disconcerting.

Anyway, anyone else also got that? And I provided my FPs about 2 weeks ago, but ECAS is not updated. Any idea how long before it gets updated. Normally I don't worry, but the application is considered abandoned if they don't receive anything within 30 days. So I want to contact them and make sure next week. Hence asking.

Really annoyed!

I received the same FP request on January 14, did it on Jan 15 and two weeks ago I sent them a question via webform just to confirm they'd received it. They did and two days later I got my test invite. I'm not saying this will happen to everyone, but if you're unsure they've received the request additonal docs, just contact them

If you still have enough number of days to be eligible at the time of your application then you have nothing to worry about.

Yes it didint even affect on the numbers of days.We came back same day,

I had applied for my wife, and two daughters (Less than 18 years of age). However i got the test invite for only wife. .. Can somebody share their expeirnce on this

I got my test invite for me and my husband, however states nothing about my daughter who is 10, I asked the same question yesterday, what I am going to do is bring all her supporting documentation as per application submission. From what I gather, children do not attend test or interview stage but must be present for the oath ceremony as they are swearing in as citizens also.
