All m saying is most of the persons I see in the treads that are trying to do some bogus stuff is from India and China. In my views it unfair for person in the pool who have everything ready and in good standing and loose out to someone who is trying to trick the system and get rejected later on in the process. That’s a waste of man power, waste of a ITA and waste of everyone’s time.. I see Indians in other treads getting ITA and continue to reject it because what they have in the pool the can’t produce it to CIC. They need to be banned for misrepresentation.
Very true.. on a average 35 to 40 % ita's are declined or rejected.. imagine how many genuine people could have got those ita's(now many lost the only chance due to age/ tie breaker).. the only way to overcome this is - cic should deduct 10 points every time a person declines an invite else some people will exploit this loophole and block others from getting ita..

The facts presently in the above message are misrepresentation in itself. Please check 2017 CIC statistics before making such claims. Hardly 5 to 10 percent applications get rejected.

People who can't present the facts correctly should be the last ones to accuse others of misrepresentation.

Wow, that's really great, glad to hear you guys made it! Just to show that nagging can be for the best when it comes to things like this, haha.

This actually makes me look forward to my third attempt, and thinking of Master's points as back-up in case anything happens post-ITA is a really good point, I never thought of that and was only thinking about it as a means of getting the ITA itself. Thank you for the insight, Nomad!
Received our first ITA @444 in Jan 2018, couldn't submit the documents in time, score fell to 439 after birthday, then improved IELTS score and got 2nd ITA in October @442..But there is no guarantee of PR. Any silly mistake can lead to rejection. That's why, every point is crucial.

When you put it that way it actually makes sense. Yes, in general you will have to go back to the countries roots!! Bringing in immigrants is a good thing to boost the country's economy but at the same time it's a good strategy to have diversity.
I agree with the diversity thing. Since I'm now already a PR they should put a quota on indians.

Just think about yourself..what about those candidates who are well educated, skilled and can contribute to Canada's economy...Just for the sake of diversity you will fill any kind of candidates like USA does..Kindly note that I already got ITA.

In my opinion, the number of ITAs given takes the expected number of declines into account. So if fewer people declined, fewer would be offered. I don't think it would help the people who didn't get ITAs. But your mileage may vary...

I believe this, ROH, is not the forum where your suggestions are supposed to make any changes in the Canadian Immigration Policies. Don't underestimate the Canadian immigration officers they are way smarter, what you think, and well aware of what they are doing. It will take fraction of seconds for them to make any new policy or make some changes in the old policies.

Hi all. After several attempts cleared ielts and got to 443 on Feb 1st. Now that there has been no draw since Jan 30, what are my chances? Also, am losing out 5 points due to birthday on March 19th. Do I stand a chance before that?

You can be positive about the upcoming draw where i guess crs should be somewhere around 445 or you still stand higher chances at 443 even after that in worst case
