According to the recent news. The MIDI will not process the old applications and all things move to Arima.
Your applications will be canceled and application fees will be returned to your account.
Unacceptable.

Very likely will pass... I talked to MIDI today, all applications were stopped pending this proposed bill, except the ones applied under PEQ.

No, that's not up to MIDI, it's up to the National Assembly Quebec where CAQ is majority and they're the ones proposing the bill.

The new QUEBEC government is really crazy. Quebec has a lot of jobs unfilled due to labor shortage but this government wants to cut the number of immigrants. I was an immigrant of Quebec but after 2 months of life in Montreal, I left QC. Language is a big issue. Many things are unclear now. Some mentioned that only PEQ applications are unaffected. They said they will send an email to the candidates whose application is canceled.
