Yes, that's what i was talking about that august people are having update . It means they have started looking into sponsor's eligibility, till now i haven't seen any july applicant having any update on ECaS.
i just logged in to gckey and it said i had an update but everything seems to be the same. background still processing and eligibility check not started. i have heard people mention this happening to them in other posts. not sure what it means.
Did you get email also ?? I have heard someone from july saying this before too. May be they have started working on july applications too.
Do you have a new line in ecas that says processing has started on the principal applicant's side?

Application received: JULY 30th 2018
AOR: August 25th 2018
Medical request: October 25th 2018
Medical completed: November 9th 2018
Medical received: November 15th
Medical passed: November 15th i think
Background check: First noticed Nov 27th
Do you mind to share your nationality?
I ask that just because mine was delivered on July 19 and I noticed they started BGC around Nov 13 ish, but I havent even have any ghost updated yet...

Sometimes it just takes a day or two for them to update eCAS or send out the email. But I kinda envy you cuz ur profile seems to have progress.. not like mine :'(
west africa. i dont think everyone gets the ghost update and it might not be anything.
