For your wife's SOWP application? No, it won't work.... unless your wife can prove that she actively manages those assets if your father-in-law is living abroad

The answer remains the same though. Is your husband actively managing your father-in-law's property, bank accounts and other assets?

For a SOWP, your husband must prove he has ties to Pakistan. For example, he is employed or he manages a business, he owns property, he has a good financial situation, etc

Generally, the chances aren't too high for spouses of students unless you are studying for a Masters or a PhD + it depends on the strong ties that your husband is able to demonstrate along with any previous travel history

Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing how long background checks can take. Until these checks are completed, a decision won't be given

Mine is also giving the same as yours from day 1, surprised when would they start reviewing eligibility, even my dad has to give biometric but the status never asked to give biometric neither it changed to biometric received after having it done however the biometric details are showing updated.

He needs to prove his own business is actively trading + it earns him an income + it is a reason for him to return to Pakistan.

He needs to prove that he earns a dividend or profits in those companies + he is an active or a passive business partner (as the case might be). Merely stating he owns shares in those companies won't help.

Are the companies audited (owned by him + the other companies owned by the dad)? Profit-loss balance sheets? Taxes paid? If yes, he must include evidence for each aspect

Yes the business is on his name. Other companies are on Dad's name, all are tax paid

Hello. I just wanna gather opinions. Can my employment and rented apartment use as my strong ties back home? I started working Nov.8, 2017 and I have a working visa that valid until 2020.. Same as my rented apartment I started living here from Nov.7, 2017 up to present and I have all the receipt of payments and would ask a Letter from the landlord if I need to.
