You mentioned that GCMS notes will show S15 if you are under SS
As per Getgcms.com, S15 is considered as a normal process where IRCC is trying to fetch individual info from other countries. It can be either be Pakistan or if you have travelled to any other country
Is there any other proof that you are under SS? Or you are just assuming by the S15 thing?
I was going positive but after reading your SS post, I got worried about my case

Is it true that travel history affects the amount of time for security check? I've read from some forums that some countries may take a while to respond or share information.

Yes I knew my visa office , it was Ottawa and my eligibility was 'Recommended Pass' till the last time I called.
Since your eligibility is met and criminality passed as per your signature,I am sure your security results are awaited before the final call and you should have already cleared eligibility which is a difficult information to fetch on the call.
So unless there is any reason for a delay in security results, which I hope don't happen,you will be posting the golden email post soon .
So hold on to your sanity and stay optimistic

Ok listen up brother if I can summarize my answer in 1 line that doesn’t mean I m in anyway not reading your question properly.
Secondly I don’t say s15 or S16 means security screening. For a better part I don’t even exactly know what does s15 or s16 means.
Previously if u were in SS, it appeared in gcms not any more.
What I m saying if u have redacted info under s16 or s15 or under any other section and your eligibility has passed 2-3 months earlier then u may probably be in SS. The one who owns this getgcms website told me this.
The best way to know it for sure is by ordering cbsa notes or csis report
