Anyone know, if we can move to different province after getting passports and if there is any forum for PR cards time frame??
It's false I would say. Never believe the hearsay from the other people. They just make the story sound like folklore. What I recommend is to go check the Constitution Acts enacted by the Government of Canada. Under the Mobility Rights section, it says that Every citizen of Canada and every person who has the status of a permanent resident of Canada has the right to move to and take up residence in any province and to pursue the gaining of a livelihood in any province. [ Reference:https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/Const/page-15.html ]I have been hearing that it can impose a problem if we move too soon. Lots of our friends have stayed in their provinces for 2 years as there have been refusing the extension of a PR after 5 years and even the app for citizenship.
I do know that people are saying that you are now a PR and can do what you please, however if the story's of refusals are even 50% correct... no thank you, after these struggles and wait
