Hi guys,

Few minutes ago I talked to the agent about the status of my application and he told me that we are reviewing your eligibility.
My concern is that only 37 days left to complete the 6 months time line and they are still review my eligibility, it means it might 1 year to complete this:

Here is my time-line:

Inland Express Entry
AOR: 17 Sept. 2017
Medical passed: 15 Oct. 2017 ( with a Ghost email)
VO: Sydney, Nova Scotia - Canada.ca

Anyone here in the same situation

Relax, this is the Montreal visa office thread. EVERYBODY in this thread is in the same situation as you. A lot of times people have gotten PPR in a few days after eligibility. So you might not have to wait one yeat

Thanks for giving me hope :)

I don't know about Sydney VO but I am in Montreal and my eligibility wasn't started three weeks ago when I was just 25 days away from the 6 months mark.

This sucks man, I hope yours starts soon and by the 180th day you have PR

mine hasn't started yet and i am now approaching 100 days.

I knew and the agent also confirmed, that it's definitely gonna take more than 6 months for my case. I am only concerned about the eligibility as of now, which I hope they have started by now.

Seems like this was a week with some action. I guess some 3-4 PPRs in a week which is actually pretty good for Montreal. Hope to see even better next two weeks!

Week has ended and I think I am a bit disappointed considering the number of July folks on the excel sheet still waiting. I expected that they would have at least approved the July 1st and second week files left.
So we in the third/last week can hope for some movement next week. It looks like that is not happening and we can only hope for something in the last week of Feb

Hopefully if they cross 6 months then they don't take too much time to get back to you beyond 6 months.

Guys , I need ur urgent help,
First I want to thank all who advised me to order another set of GCMS @cansha @maverick1982 and all the others who did..
I ordered a set dated January 17th,2019.
My eligibility is set Review Required by a Case analyst in Montreal, and the due date is 13 Feb 2019
The RR is due to "Settlement fund" issue , the certificates I have provided from the bank include current cash plus "certificate of deposits" that are readily to be reedemed anytime and their value actually way exceeds the required 12,500 required for a single applicant.
those "certificate of deposits" are obviously not mentioned in their calculations, but they "noted" its presence in the bank certificate.
Guys..would it be enough to raise a cse refering to these certificate deposits and the statement that says they can be redeemed anytime.. or shall i contact the bank for further detailed statements or what ..?
Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated @tobs and any other fellows

Doesn't matter. You will get COPR. They will ask for a new photo when you soft land during PR card processing as they won't be able to locate your photo which is not a big deal anyways because they reject 90% photos in any case.
oh really? i thought they wont issue COPR if the pics are not as per the specification and may sent the passports back without stamping. After hearing all the pic rejections, i was so concerned.
If thats true it will be such a big relief Cansha. thanks :)

All those stories of pics rejection happen for PR card and hence after landing. It is very rare to reject pics at COPR stage but that has happened as well. But in most of those cases candidates sent a 2x2 pic as per US standards which was bound to be rejected.
