You never know to be honest, I’m in the same situation I want to visit my husband April/may but I doubt it too that it will be so fast. You can see my timeline in my signature
I’m hopefully going over in April under duel intent and looking to return for a month or so in September. However, I was informed by CIC that if my application was to process whilst I’m over there I can amend my address to the Canadian address and have everything forwarded there.

I feel the same. However, I sometimes visit discussion board for June out-land applications and their application has not yet been processed completely - passport has not been requested yet. Considering that I assume our's will be done by July or August.
If it’s a short trip I would say go ahead but if you have a lawyer it won’t hurt to ask

I don't have a lawyer and even if I had one, I know everyone will suggest to not travel (they are not the ones living apart so that cannot understand our situation).

I am planning to go for two weeks. The concern is what if they ask for her passport on May 1st and we are travelling on May 15th. Then it would be difficult to make a decision - to wait or to submit the passport (when you have already paid in for the trip - flight tickets and hotel).

You’ve got 30 days to send your passport after they request it so you should be fine. I doubt they’ll issue a passport request that quickly anyway. We’re probably looking at at the very least July/August.

I feel you, but in case they ask it and you want to go away like that I think you can delay the sending of the passport ones you come back you can send it, I am not sure if there is a dead line when they request it. Maybe call them and let them know.

If they request Passport again I think you will have 30 days time to send them . So in mean time if it is short trip , you can finish that.

Any US Applicants that have their AOR1 get their SA or MR yet? (Sponsor Approval/Medical Request). Just curious! Thanks :D
Yes...
Application Received - Nov. 20
AOR1 - Jan. 25
SA - Feb. 7

I'm applying to Quebec, so I don't know what comes next: AOR2, MR, or request for undertaking application to Quebec. They are all mentioned in the SA letter. But things are moving along.

Hey all :(
So I’m sure my application must have been deleted or tossed aside at this point cause I haven’t had any communication in a month. So many others who were recurved after ours have gotten SA and ME and been moved to another visa office. I don’t wanna call them if they can’t tell you anything, is anyone else is the same boat? No communication for a month or more? What did you do? Feeling frustrated and worried.
Thanks a bunch
I can't help but giggle at posts like these. We had radio silence for seven months. Long periods of silence are completely normal and part of the process, regardless of when other people are receiving ME or SA. There's no defined order for these things. You need to drop the stress, you'll never make it through this process without a nervous breakdown if you don't. Deep breaths!!

I’m sorry my post was a joke to some. I’m new to things and was concerned but that’s not allowed I guess. Good luck to everyone here.

It's not a joke, don't take it so personally. Just telling you as someone who went through this and had a lot of anxiety at the beginning - you have to let it go. It's out of your hands now, and I'm telling you what you're experiencing is normal. It can really wear on your relationship if you're constantly in a state of stress.

At what stage did things go into radio silence. Was that after you got the AOR1?

No, in 2017 some things were much faster then now. App was received Mar 1, and we got AOR Mar 10, only 9 Days later. We received SA, medical request, RCMP request all before March 30. The file was then transferred to LVO the first week of May, and that was when it went silent for 7m.

London Visa office is notorious for being slow. My PR application was processed at LVO and it exceeded the 6 month time-line. I am hoping things are different with my current application
