April 2018 - Citizenship Applicant

Hello,

My mother (Age:65 years) applied for her citizenship from MILTON as per the following details:

Application Sent : 27 March 2018
Application received: 01 April 2018
Location: Milton: ON
Physical presence: 1490 days
AOR: April 18, 2018
IP: June 20, 2018
Test: Pending
Oath: Pending

I wonder to note that by March 2019, her application shall be completed one year and till to day she couldn’t get her test date.

Could you guys extend your helping hands for the delay of her case. In past she travels non English/ French countries and we submitted her translated passport copy with her application.

Is it because of applying from Milton which delays her case.

Which city Milton applicants file being processed?

For applicants above 55 year's of age , there is no test.

My application was received on April 23, 2018 and was IP since July 30. Till now I don’t hear anything from IRCC, is it normal? My case processing office is in Kitchener.

One final update for me. ECAS now shows my status as "Complete".

4. We sent you a notice on September 4, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 2, 2018 at 12:30 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Did you get Decision made on your ECAS? You can compare your Test date with others with the same date in the spreadsheet and get an estimate for the OATH .

Yes. I have a decision made but I don't see a date when that was... Is it supposed to be listed after step #4?

One final update for me. ECAS now shows my status as "Complete".

Well done. Now go get that new passport sorted and you're all set.

DM does not add a step, you need to check daily and only then will you see the change to decision made and know the date. There is no way of you finding that out now.
