Is there anyone around that have got DM on ECAS in early Jan 2019, but no further communication since. From what I have read here, PPR (or is Pre-arrival) should be sent out soon after DM. Who does it go to? Sponsor or PA? Neither of us have received anything, and its like a little over a month since DM. Thanks!

Once file transferred to a VO most correspondence should go to PA only

If you hired a representative then the PPR email ll go to him/ her. There is only 10% chances when they send PPR to PA or sponsor so make sure all of you guys i.e. you, sponsor as well as representative check each n every folders carefully include spam cuz most of time they send email to spam folder. Just in case if any of you guys don't get till this weekend then plz send an email to ur visa office where ur file was transfered. Explain them everything properly with ur details, sponsor details, file or uci number, PA n DM date then request for PPR email. 110% u ll get it soon as per recent trend cuz too many ppl got PPR email after requesting by email. Good luck

Email comes from IRCC.XXX.IRCC@cic.gc.ca mail box. I'm not sure whether I should post the complete mailbox address or not so replaced the center part with XXX.

This happened to me and some other applicants as well that from the subject line it just seems like a SPAM but make sure you open the email. The email subject will be Ready for Visa / Pret pour Visa.

Good Day!

This is in response to your request for an update on the status of your application. We do our best to make sure everyone who has applied to immigrate to or visit Canada is provided with effective and efficient service. We receive an enormous amount of correspondence daily. Although we would like to respond to all of it, we recognize that it takes resources away from processing applications, which leads to longer processing times. As a result, we do not provide detailed replies to applicants requesting a status update on their application.

Applicants for permanent residence may check the basic status of their application on the Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC) website: Client Application Status: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

Applicants can also check the Processing Times page on our website for information about how long it takes for applications in the same category to be finalized: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/processing_times-durees_traitement.aspx

Please note that changes in the volume of new applications received and in the resources available to process them can lead to shorter or longer processing times. Some applications, owing to their complexity, take longer to process than others. Processing could be delayed by any of the following factors:

- An interview is required

- The applicant has not complied with a request for documents or information

- We are awaiting the results of background checks or verifications

- A medical examination and/or treatment is required

Applications are processed in the order in which they were received. If any action is required on your part, we will contact you using the contact information you have provided on your application.

If there has been a change of your marital status, family configuration, or address, you may update your application, but we request that you send a signed request by mail, fax, or scanned e-mail attachment (see our contact information below).

Please provide the following information in all correspondence with our office:

- the subject of your message

- applicant’s full name (SURNAME, Given names)

- date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy)

- country of citizenship

- file number or UCI

- telephone number, including area code,

- mailing address,

- email address

If you are making an enquiry on behalf of a friend or relative, please note the Canadian Privacy Act prohibits the disclosure of personal information from our files without the written consent of the person concerned. Information may only be disclosed to a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident specifically named by that person, or to an authorized representative. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/representative/index.asp for further details.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum to help us serve you better.

Could it be possible that they have actually started BGC without posting any update on ECAS or GCKEY accounts?
