Just putting it out here for the perspective of others.

I sent my passport on Jan 28th. Processing started on Jan 30th. As of Jan 4th, they have shipped my decision envelope.

My timeline is:
Application received: May 25th 2018
SA and Medical: 10th July 2018
File transfer to NDVO: 3rd August 2018
AOR2: 21st August 2018
DM: 11th January 2019
PPR: 17th January 2019

I'm sorry I have no idea about the same since I never had access to MyCIC account. Also, ECAS doesn't show that info.
I believed AOR2 was the start date of the BGC.

I see it's coming close to 3 months nothin after AOR2 , so guys here we (are in the same boat) can see our future too + speed of NDVO
Now guys can understand if she has/had BGC started by Sydney >>that won't or dont seem to make a huge diff !
ONCE you are in the hands of NDVO >>they start their own BGC>>that is the REAL time BGC +good news +then only max 1 to 3 months

My belief is they would do BGC there as well, to check the info disclosed in your application.

My GCKey account shows background check in process since Nov. 2018 and file was transferred to New Delhi in Jan. 2nd week, then ECAS showed "We started processing your application on..." few days after file was transferred. So, should I start counting my wait time from Nov. 2018 or Jan. 2019?

Same here . May wait for further till they start BGC from NDVO otherwise 3 months to 9 as NDVO history

Just recived "atip report" 97 pages which I requested in September. All 97 pages are copies of the application forms and wedding photos. Zero info about what stage is our app or notes by officers.
