HI Team,

Would like to get some precise info on adding my new born who was born post my submission of application.
Here is a jist of my story:
1.Received invite on Oct 3 2018
2.Submitted application on Nov 13 2018
3.Daughter was born on DEC 10 2018
4.medicals passed on DEC 12 2018 and since then the status hasn't changed. Technically i am not in IP1 stage also.(Q: is it normal scenario or should i check with CIC on this)

Want to know as
1.how exactly i can add her
2.Also as i am yet to receive her documents(Passport, medicals) which would take another month or so , question over here is should I add her or should i wait for my PR and take her as dependent post i landing in Canada.

will be waiting for any information and will be more than happy to get it.

Thanks in anticipation,
Sam..
Report important changes such as birth of a child through webform -- https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx but make sure you already have documents such as passport, birth certificate etc as IRCC will ask for them.. Normally, a CSE takes a week to get a response and they give you 30 Days to gather all the documents.

Once you have gotten a response to the CSE, they will give you instructions on what they need such as forms etc.

I think it is better to add her to your PR app as soon as you get the documents needed to update IRCC with addition of your newborn child.

Good luck!

I am applying from India and when I checked with them last week my application is was actually transferred to CPC-Ottawa and they were verifying whether I meet eligibility.

So I am assuming once my eligibility is met they will probably transfer to one of the Indian VOs
When we say eligibility check.. any idea what all is included in that?
Coz we are able to get the invite only when we meet the basic eligibility criteria...
Now I am confused as to what all they look into while checking for the eligibility

As per immitracker, quite a few folks have got PPR.

Mostly, CEC and inland applicants. A handful of folks from FSW-O have received PPR, I guess they have no travel history which is the reason for their speedy process.

For the rest of us we will have to wait till March at least to hear something positive :(
Even I don't have any travel history. This should help process my application faster :D

They will check as to whether the CRS score mentioned is correct as per the cut-off draw on that specific date you were invited :) All your documents will be verified by an officer to make sure you meet the CRS cut-off

I had tried for US H1B1 Visa during 2009 through my first employer from Chennai Consulate. It was rejected by them stating I don't have enough experience. I do have any materialistic evidence for this and hence just updated the statutory field with this information. hope they will consider this.
Hey so you were asked to pay RPRF?

I don't think there's anything to worry about eligibility then. I don't know why this takes time. Coz people usually are double sure before accepting the invite. It's just the wait without any update that is making us all anxious

I am going past 100 days this Sunday since AOR, I am yet to receive RPRF request while December AORs are getting RPRF request.

This is exactly why I am getting more paranoid. It feels like my application is not moving :( Sucks :(

At Eligibility level they actually confirm the points you claimed for is all genuine and match up....
For example my eligibility is not met because I, by mistake, put in wrong NOC code as primary code but all my jobs are in a different NOC Code.
Other examples of eligibility are Proof of Funds verification, points claimed for relatives in Canada...Overall anything you claimed points for they will tally....

So was your application refused or you raised a new CSE to clarify the NOC issue?

I have raised a CSE but going as per others that have been in similar situation there is 50-50 chance of getting through....So hoping for the best....

There are cases where IP1 to IP2 to PPR is all done in one day. I have been in Meds Passed for a while now. Just need to trust that your documentation represents a true and fair view of the application and everything will fall into place. Hopefully. I am Paranoid about this as well and I feel you. However, there are so many points not in your control. All you can do is sit tight and wait.
